ATM FALL AGAIN, FELDA UNITED TAKE TOP SPOT

​MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: FELDA UNITED 2 - ATM 1

Felda United leaped to the top of the Super League as Perak and Kelantan fumbled in their matches on Saturday night. The Fighters proved that they are a strong contender in the current season after beating ATM 2-1 at the Selayang Stadium.

​Edward Wilson Junior brilliantly scored a rebound from Indra Putra's attempt in the 14th minute to give Felda United the lead. Ahmad Syamim Yahya doubled their lead 12 minutes later after heading in a free kick by Edward Wilson from outside the penalty box. The goal ensured Felda moved past Perak on goals scored with both teams tie on seven points and with the same goal difference.

​​But the Gladiators new signing Norshahrul Idlan Talaha reduced the deficit in the 34th minute. Felda United held on strongly for the rest of the 90 minutes to stay unbeaten after three matches and lead the table with seven points.
