PAHANG RECORDS FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON

MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE: PAHANG 2 - SIME DARBY 0

Pahang scored a 2-0 victory against Sime Darby FC at the Darul Makmur Stadium. The Elephants displayed a good performance despite resting a number of important players. Pahang opened the scoring in the 45th minute through Zesh Rehman. The visitor tried to increase their game but Pahang was very steady in midfield and defence.

The absence of Dickson Nwakame and Azamudin Akil did not stop Pahang's from giving a good show. R.Gopinath gave Pahang their second goal in the 55th minute. Coach Zainal Abidin Hasan was satisfied with his team performance. It is Pahang's first league win of the season after three winless matches.
