VAN DER SAR CHOOSES BRAZIL AS FAVOURITE

Former Manchester United player, Edwin van der Sar thinks Brazil are the clear favourite at the Brazil 2014 World Cup because of the weather, the humidity, the warmth, and the expectation from the people.  The Dutch legend was quoted in an exclusive interview to Laureus.Com. He also believes that  it will be very hard for an outsider, or maybe a European team, to get to the final and try to win it.

Van Der Sar also tipped Cristiano Ronaldo can be the best player at the tournament and becomes the top scorer.  The goalkeeping star who is currently working with the youth players at Ajax, also hopes that  Roy Hodgson idea to bring in young players into the world cup squad will benefit the England team.
