HENRY DENIES DOMENECH RIFT

Thierry Henry has denied rumours that France coach Raymond Domenech threatened to leave him out of the World Cup if he refused to be among the substitutes.

The Barcelona striker started the first two warm-up games for his country on the bench and is widely expected to do the same for Les Bleus' first game against Uruguay on 11th June.

Despite being the French side's all-time top goalscorer and one of the most well known players in world football, Henry has failed to impress this season, being used as a back-up for his club and behind Nicolas Anelka and Andre-Pierre Gignac in the pecking order for his country.
